水一洒上,她的昏厥立刻止息。她如同从睡梦中醒来一般开口说话,反复呼唤:“湿婆!湿婆!”
Narrator (contextual)
Scene: A devotee woman, moments after being sprinkled with sacred foot-water, rises as if from sleep; her eyes open wide, hands in añjali, lips repeating “Śiva, Śiva,” while attendants look on in astonishment within a Kāśī shrine setting.
Consecrated substances linked to Śiva-worship, joined with remembrance of Śiva’s name, are portrayed as immediately purifying and restorative.
Kāśī’s Śaiva sanctity is implied through the efficacy of Ratneśa’s ablution water and the spontaneous cry of “Śiva.”
Sprinkling (ukṣaṇa) with sanctified snapana water; spontaneous japa/utterance of “Śiva, Śiva.”
