पितृगोत्रे मृता ये वै मातृपक्षे च ये मृताः । तेषामत्र कृतः पिंडो भवेदक्षयतृप्तिदः
pitṛgotre mṛtā ye vai mātṛpakṣe ca ye mṛtāḥ | teṣāmatra kṛtaḥ piṃḍo bhavedakṣayatṛptidaḥ
凡父系宗族中亡者，及母系一方亡者；若在此为之供献品荼（piṇḍa），便成为赐予不坏满足之供养。
