沐浴洁净之后,她应寻望丈夫的面容,绝不去看他人。或者先在心中观想其夫,然后仰观日轮。
Skanda (deduced, Kāśīkhaṇḍa context)
Tirtha: Gaṅgā (Kāśī-ghāṭa context)
Type: ghat
Scene: At dawn after bathing: the woman, purified, either approaches her husband respectfully or stands on a Gaṅgā ghāṭa facing the rising Sun, hands in añjali, with temple spires and river shimmer behind.
Purity and fidelity—after purification, one’s attention is directed toward the spouse, or sublimated through contemplation and reverent Sūrya-darśana.
The verse is embedded in Kāśī-khaṇḍa’s dharma-teachings; it supports the ideal of sanctified conduct within the holy realm of Kāśī.
Susnāna (proper bathing) and then either beholding the husband’s face or performing mental dhyāna and looking at Bhānu (the Sun).
