Transliteration

gṛhāśramātparaṃ nāsti yadi patnīvaśaṃvadā | ānukūlyaṃ hi daṃpatyostrivargodaya hetave

Translation

若不为妻所制，则居士住期（gṛhastha-āśrama）无有更上。盖夫妇和合，实为三义——法（dharma）、利（artha）、欲（kāma）——兴盛之因。
