brahmatejobhivṛddhyarthaṃ viprobdepaṃcamerhati | ṣaṣṭhe balārthī nṛpatirmaujīṃ vaiśyoṣṭame dhriyet
为增长婆罗门的神圣光辉(tejas),婆罗门宜在第五年受持圣带;刹帝利之王为求力量,于第六年;吠舍则应在第八年系上芒草(muñja)之带。
