Transliteration

mahādhanasya śāṃtasya sadā rājasakhasya ca | yāñcābhaṃgabhayāttasya tāṃ kanyāṃ pradadau pitā

Translation

因他极其富有、性情安和，又常为国王之友；少女之父惧怕拒绝其求婚而招致羞辱，便将女儿许配给他。
