नन्द्युवाच । त्वयावतरणं चक्रे कपीन्द्रामरहेतुना । तथापि हि कृतं पापमुपभोगेन शाम्यति
nandyuvāca | tvayāvataraṇaṃ cakre kapīndrāmarahetunā | tathāpi hi kṛtaṃ pāpamupabhogena śāmyati
难提说道:“猿王啊,你的降世确为诸天之故。即便如此,所作之罪,唯有亲受其果,方得消尽。”
Nandī
Tirtha: Kailāsa (dharma-upadeśa locus)
Type: kshetra
Scene: Nandī instructs Hanumān: though his incarnation served the gods, any committed sin is exhausted only by being experienced.
Even divinely purposed actions do not cancel karmic law; pāpa is said to subside through its fruition and subsequent purification.
The verse sets the karmic framework; the chapter then directs the seeker to Revā/Narmadā tīrthas for cleansing.
None explicitly here; it introduces the principle that karmic residue must be resolved, which later is linked to tīrtha-snāna.
