श्रीमार्कण्डेय उवाच । चित्रोनाम महातेजा इन्द्रस्य दयितः पुरा । तस्य पुत्रो नृपश्रेष्ठ पत्त्रेश्वर इति श्रुतः
śrīmārkaṇḍeya uvāca | citronāma mahātejā indrasya dayitaḥ purā | tasya putro nṛpaśreṣṭha pattreśvara iti śrutaḥ
圣者马尔坎德耶说道：从前有一位名为奇特罗（Citra）者，光辉炽盛，为因陀罗所钟爱。大王啊，他的儿子以“帕特雷湿伐罗”（Pattreśvara）之名而闻名。
