prāpnuyuḥ paramāṃ siddhimādityā dvādaśaiva tu | ataḥ siddheśvaraḥ proktaḥ siddhidaḥ siddhikāṅkṣiṇām
十二阿底提耶(Ādityas)确于此地证得无上成就(siddhi)。因此称其为“悉地湿伐罗”(Siddheśvara)——成就之主,赐予渴求成就者以成就。
Mārkaṇḍeya (narrative voice continues in this adhyāya; speaker not explicit in this verse)
Tirtha: Siddheśvara
Type: kshetra
Listener: Yudhiṣṭhira (implied)
Scene: Twelve radiant solar deities (Ādityas) stand in a semicircle performing worship to a liṅga; beams of sunlight converge into the sanctum, signifying ‘paramā siddhi’; Śiva’s presence is suggested as a luminous linga-tejas.
Sacred places become ‘names of grace’: Siddheśvara is praised as the divine source of spiritual accomplishment for sincere seekers.
Siddheśvara Tīrtha, where the twelve Ādityas are said to have attained supreme siddhi.
The verse highlights the result (siddhi) rather than a detailed ritual; it implies devotion and seeking at Siddheśvara.
