Pārthiva-pratimā Pūjā-vidhāna — Procedure for Worship of an Earthen Icon
bhagasyedaṃ bhogamiti śabdārtho mukhyataḥ śrutaḥ | mukhyo bhagastu prakṛtirbhagavāñchiva ucyate

Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Role: teaching
It defines why Shiva is called Bhagavān: not merely as an enjoyer, but as the supreme Lord who possesses and directs the highest power—Prakṛti—thereby establishing Shiva as Pati (Lord) in Shaiva doctrine.
Linga-worship honors Shiva as the visible focus of the supreme Pati who governs Shakti/Prakṛti; Saguna worship trains the mind to recognize that all powers and experiences arise under Shiva’s lordship.
Meditate on Shiva as the inner Lord of all powers while repeating the Panchākṣarī mantra “Om Namaḥ Śivāya,” offering the fruits of all ‘bhoga’ back to Shiva in devotion.
