Cosmic Event: veiling and manifestation through Māyā (tirodhāna) alongside transcendence beyond mind (manonmanī)
It distinguishes Shiva as the supreme Lord (Sadashiva/Maheshvara) and explains His Shakti in two aspects: Manonmanī as the transcendent spiritual power leading beyond mind, and Māyā as the power that manifests and veils the world—clarifying liberation as rising beyond Māyā through Shiva’s grace.
Linga worship centers on Shiva as Pati (the Supreme) while acknowledging Shakti as the dynamic power behind creation. Devotion to Saguna forms of Maheshvara leads the seeker from Māyā-bound perception toward Manonmanī—inner transcendence—culminating in realization of Shiva’s supreme nature.
Meditate on Shiva as Sadashiva with japa of the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya), while contemplating Shakti as Māyā to be transcended; support practice with Tripuṇḍra (bhasma) and Rudrākṣa as Shaiva disciplines that steady the mind toward Manonmanī.
