It teaches that creation functions through the Supreme Śakti, while Śiva is the transcendental Lord (Pati) who is called Śaktimān because His power is inseparable from Him—pointing to non-dual unity in essence and purposeful distinction in function.
The Liṅga signifies Śiva as the formless ground, and Śakti as His manifesting power; worshiping the Liṅga with devotion acknowledges both the transcendent Śiva and the dynamic Śakti through whom the cosmos appears.
Meditate on Śiva with Śakti as inseparable—japa of the Pañcākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) while contemplating that all manifestation arises through divine power, offering the mind back to Śiva as the Lord of that power.
