It emphasizes that fulfilled prayer (prasāda) is not merely personal will but arises through Parameśvara’s decree; the devotee’s request ripens into grace when aligned with Śiva’s sovereign order.
The verse highlights Saguna devotion—approaching Śiva’s manifest family and powers (Śaṅkara, Umā, Gaṅgā, and their son) while recognizing that all bestowal ultimately proceeds from Parameśvara, the Lord worshipped as the Linga.
A practical takeaway is prayerful petition (prārthanā) offered with Śiva-bhakti—ideally alongside Panchākṣarī japa (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) and a humble request that the boon be granted only in accordance with Śiva’s command.
