邬波摩纽说:“哦,奎师那,这关于商菩(湿婆)的事迹极其惊人,他的作为不可估量。请听这依其旨意而行的壮举,这是我亲耳从吠陀圣典中所闻。”

Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Mahādeva
Role: teaching
The verse establishes Śravaṇa (devout hearing) as a primary Shaiva discipline: Shiva’s deeds are ‘immeasurable,’ and liberation-oriented understanding begins by listening to His command and to teachings grounded in Śruti, strengthening śraddhā and devotion to Pati (Shiva).
By emphasizing Shiva’s ‘command’ and narrating His wondrous deeds, the verse points to Saguna Shiva—Śambhu who acts within the world and can be approached through story, worship, and obedience; such hearing and reverence naturally support Linga-upāsanā as a concrete focus for devotion.
The practical takeaway is śravaṇa of Shiva-kathā from authoritative tradition (śruti/smṛti lineage), paired with obedient application—such as daily Shiva-nāma japa (e.g., Pañcākṣarī “Om Namaḥ Śivāya”)—though this specific verse primarily highlights listening and faithful reception.
