因毗湿奴之苦行而心生欢喜,湿婆确实赐福于毗湿奴;正因此时,萨姆巴大天以自身本质之精华,赐他一子。

Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Mahādeva
Shakti Form: Umā
Role: creative
Cosmic Event: Anugraha articulated doctrinally: tapas → tuṣṭi (divine satisfaction) → vara-dāna.
The verse highlights Śiva as Pati (the supreme Lord) who responds to sincere tapas with anugraha (grace), showing that even exalted deities attain results through devotion and disciplined austerity.
By naming Śiva as Sāmbha Mahādeva (Śiva with Umā), the verse points to Saguna Śiva—approachable through worship such as Liṅga-pūjā—who grants boons when the devotee’s mind is purified by tapas and bhakti.
Tapas supported by steady devotion is implied—practically expressed as regular japa of the Pañcākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya), disciplined vrata (especially on Mahāśivarātri), and focused Śiva-upāsanā to seek divine grace.
