苏多说道:诸牟尼如是听闻风神伐由之言,心生欢喜;遂礼拜彼精通湿婆派阿伽摩之伐由,而后开口说道。
Suta Goswami
It highlights the Shaiva ethic of śravaṇa (reverent listening) and vinaya (humble bowing) toward a qualified teacher—here Vāyu, a knower of the Śaiva Āgamas—showing that right understanding of Pati (Śiva) arises through respectful reception of revealed teaching.
By emphasizing Vāyu’s mastery of the Śaiva Āgamas, the verse points to the Āgamic foundation of Saguna Śiva worship—especially Linga-upāsanā—where correct ritual, mantra, and inner attitude are transmitted through authoritative instruction.
The implied practice is śravaṇa and guru-bhakti: listen attentively to Śaiva teaching, offer namaskāra, and then engage in disciplined Āgamic sādhanā such as japa of the Pañcākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) as taught by the tradition.
