अन्यत्तु त्रितयं नाम्नामुपादानादियोगतः । त्रिविधोपाधिवचनाच्छिव एवानुवर्तते
anyattu tritayaṃ nāmnāmupādānādiyogataḥ | trividhopādhivacanācchiva evānuvartate
然而其余三种名号,由于与物质因等相应而生;又因以三种限制性附属(upādhi)而说,故贯穿一切、恒为底蕴的真实,唯是湿婆。

It teaches that multiple divine names and functional descriptions arise from limiting conditions (upādhis), yet Śiva alone remains the one continuous reality—pointing the seeker from appearances to Pati, the supreme Lord beyond coverings.
Linga worship accepts form and attributes as sacred supports for devotion, while this verse clarifies that such names and forms are conditioned expressions; through them one realizes the same Śiva who transcends all upādhis.
Practice japa of the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) while contemplating that all names and roles are upādhi-based, and that Śiva alone is the abiding substratum; this aligns devotion with inner discrimination (viveka).
