It situates Daksha within the cyclical order of Manvantaras and sacred lineages, reminding the seeker that embodied roles (creator, progenitor, ruler) arise within time, while Shiva as Pati remains the timeless ground beyond these cycles.
Though genealogical, it frames the cosmic administration in which devotees and Prajapatis operate; such beings function under the Lord’s governance, and Linga-worship centers the mind on Shiva as the supreme controller (Pati) of all manifested orders and successions.
A practical takeaway is contemplative japa of the Panchakshara—“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”—reflecting on impermanence of worldly status and anchoring devotion in Shiva, the steady refuge across Manvantaras.
