It affirms the Shaiva vision that the Supreme (Śiva as Paramātman) is inseparable from His supreme Power (Śakti), revered as the Goddess endowed with divine attributes—pointing to liberation through realizing Shiva–Shakti unity.
In Saguna worship, the Liṅga signifies Śiva as the Supreme, while devotion to Devī as His Śakti completes the theology of manifestation—Śiva as the transcendent Lord and Śakti as His operative power in grace, creation, and liberation.
Meditate on the inseparable Shiva–Śakti principle while reciting the Pañcākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya), contemplating Śiva as Paramātman and Devī as His supreme Śakti; this supports bhakti and inner yoga-oriented worship.
