Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Īśāna
Role: teaching
The verse emphasizes Shiva’s direct, sovereign presence (Pati) even when creation proceeds through Brahmā; the moon-crested Lord appears as the supreme reality who oversees and sanctifies manifestation.
By naming Shiva as Indubhūṣaṇa and stating He appears ‘directly,’ the text supports Saguna contemplation—devotees may worship Shiva in a tangible form (including the Linga) while understanding Him as the transcendent Lord behind all creation.
Meditate on Shiva as the moon-crested Lord at the brow-center (ājñā), repeating the Panchakshara mantra ‘Om Namaḥ Śivāya’ to invoke inner clarity and the grace of Pati.
