अहमेव भविष्यामि मान्यस्त्रिजगतीपतिः । अहरिष्यामि देवा नामक्षयास्सर्वसंपदः

It portrays the classic Shaiva theme of ahaṅkāra (ego) and dominion-seeking: claiming lordship over the three worlds and coveting “akṣaya” wealth leads to adharma, which is ultimately countered by Shiva’s higher sovereignty as Pati (the true Lord).
The verse highlights the limits of worldly power; Linga/Saguna Shiva worship redirects the devotee from conquest and possession toward devotion, purification, and reliance on Shiva as the stabilizing Lord who protects cosmic order when divine prosperity is threatened.
A practical takeaway is japa of the Pañcākṣarī mantra “Om Namaḥ Śivāya” to dissolve ego and craving, along with Tripuṇḍra (bhasma) remembrance of impermanence—countering the mindset of “I will seize all prosperity.”
