Bāṇa’s Renewed Engagement in Battle

Sanatkumara
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Īśāna
The verse highlights Śiva (Pati) as the supreme guiding Lord whose word restores order; victory is shown as aligned with divine will, and true triumph is to act without ego, under Śambhu’s command.
Śambhu is addressed personally and directly, reflecting Saguna Śiva—devotees relate to Him as the conscious Lord who intervenes, instructs, and protects; such narratives support devotional worship of Śiva (including Liṅga-upāsanā) as the living divine presence.
The practical takeaway is śaraṇāgati (surrender) and attentive listening to Śiva’s instruction; in practice, this aligns with daily Panchākṣara japa (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) and disciplined restraint of one’s ‘weapons’—speech, anger, and impulse—under Śiva’s guidance.
