हिरण्यनेत्रस्य तपः — Hiraṇyanetra’s Austerity and the Boon
शिव उवाच । यद्यस्मि रुद्रस्तव किं मया स्यात्किमर्थमेवं वदसीति मिथ्या । शृणु प्रभावं मम दैत्यनाथ न्याय्यं न वक्तुं वचनं त्वयैवम्
śiva uvāca | yadyasmi rudrastava kiṃ mayā syātkimarthamevaṃ vadasīti mithyā | śṛṇu prabhāvaṃ mama daityanātha nyāyyaṃ na vaktuṃ vacanaṃ tvayaivam
湿婆（Śiva）说：“如果我真的是你的鲁德拉（Rudra），那我还需要做什么呢？你为什么要这样虚伪地说话？大提亚（Daityas）之主啊，听听我的威严。你说出这样的话是不恰当的。”
