शिवस्य आश्वासनं हरि-ब्रह्मणोः तथा शङ्खचूडवृत्तान्तकथनम् / Śiva’s Reassurance to Hari and Brahmā; Account of Śaṅkhacūḍa’s Origin
tvattaḥ śarva ca sarvaṃ ca tvayi sarvaṃ maheśvara | sarvaṃ tvaṃ nikhilādhīśa prasīda parameśvara
A devotee/combatant offering praise to Lord Shiva (as narrated by Suta Goswami within the Yuddha narrative)
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Īśāna
Type: stotra
Role: teaching
The verse affirms Shiva as Pati—the supreme source, support, and indwelling reality of all—prompting the devotee to move from fear and conflict to śaraṇāgati (surrender) and to seek His grace (prasīda) for liberation.
By declaring that all emerges from Shiva and rests in Him, the verse supports Saguna worship—approaching the all-pervading Lord through a tangible focus like the Shiva-Linga—while remembering that the Linga signifies the limitless Parameśvara beyond form.
A simple practice is stuti with japa: repeat the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) while contemplating “tvayi sarvaṃ”—all is in Shiva—and conclude with a prayer for prasāda (grace), optionally with Tripuṇḍra bhasma and rudrākṣa as Shaiva aids.
