व्यास उवाच । ब्रह्मपुत्र नमस्तेऽस्तु धन्यस्त्वं शैवसत्तम । यच्छ्राविता महादिव्या कथेयं शांकरी शुभा
vyāsa uvāca | brahmaputra namaste'stu dhanyastvaṃ śaivasattama | yacchrāvitā mahādivyā katheyaṃ śāṃkarī śubhā
毗耶娑说道：“噢，梵天之子，向你致敬。你确实有福啊，湿婆最上之信徒，因为你得以聆听这至为神圣、吉祥的叙事——属于商羯罗（湿婆）的妙善传说。”
