于是,噢诸天中的圣仙,当湿婆与其圣力(Śakti)在那欢喜林(Ānandavana)中嬉悦之时,神圣的意愿升起——诚然相传,有一位注定将被创造的他者显现于世。
Suta Goswami
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Jyotirlinga: Viśvanātha
Sthala Purana: Ānandavana is identified with Kāśī, Śiva’s eternal playground where His presence is self-manifest; creation is framed as arising from Śiva-Śakti’s līlā and icchā (divine will).
Significance: Darśana in Kāśī is held to confer liberation-supporting merit; remembrance of Viśveśvara is linked with taraka-prasāda (saving grace) at death.
Shakti Form: Pārvatī
Role: creative
Cosmic Event: Sṛṣṭi-ārambha framed as arising from divine icchā (will) during Śiva-Śakti’s līlā.
It presents creation as arising from Śiva’s Icchā-śakti (divine will), showing that manifestation begins not from lack but from the Lord’s sovereign freedom, with Śiva as Pati (the supreme Lord) initiating sṛṣṭi.
By portraying Śiva in līlā (sport) with Śakti and the rise of Icchā, it supports Saguna contemplation—devotees worship the manifest Lord (often through the Liṅga) as the conscious source from whom creation proceeds.
Meditate on Śiva as the inner source of Icchā (will) and offer japa of the Pañcākṣarī—“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”—to align personal intention with Śiva’s auspicious will.
