It highlights that authentic spiritual understanding arises through guru-like grace (prasāda) and humility—Nārada attributes his knowledge not to ego, but to Brahmā’s blessing, aligning with Shaiva teaching that divine grace is essential for right knowledge.
Though it names Viṣṇu’s glory, the verse models the Shaiva Purana’s devotional framework: reverence, surrender, and receiving prasāda—qualities central to Saguna Shiva worship through the Liṅga, where grace is sought through pūjā and recitation.
Practice devotion grounded in humility: begin Liṅga-pūjā with a prayer seeking Śiva’s prasāda, and accompany it with mantra-japa (especially the Pañcākṣarī, “Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) as a disciplined way to cultivate receptivity to grace.
