सेवातत्त्वप्रश्नः — The Question of Whom to Serve (Sevā) for the Removal of Suffering
विज्ञानं जायते ज्ञानात्परब्रह्मप्रकाशकम् । विज्ञानं च यदा जातं तदा भेदो निवर्तते
vijñānaṃ jāyate jñānātparabrahmaprakāśakam | vijñānaṃ ca yadā jātaṃ tadā bhedo nivartate
由知而生起毗阇那(证悟之智),能照耀至上梵。及至证智生起之时,差别之见(bheda)便止息。

Tattva Level: pashu
Shiva Form: Dakṣiṇāmūrti
Sthala Purana: Not a site-specific (sthala) passage; it teaches the inner progression from śāstra-jñāna to direct realization (vijñāna) that reveals Parabrahman/Śiva.
Significance: Frames jñāna→vijñāna as the true ‘inner tīrtha’: realization that removes bheda (separative cognition) and turns the seeker toward Śiva-nature.
Role: teaching
It teaches that mere conceptual knowledge matures into vijñāna—direct realization of the Supreme (Shiva as Parabrahman)—and with that awakening, the felt separation between self and the Divine is dissolved, leading toward moksha.
Linga and saguna worship function as supports for concentration and purity; through devotion, mantra, and contemplation, the seeker’s jñāna ripens into vijñāna, revealing Shiva beyond form (Parabrahman) and removing the perception of duality.
Sustained japa of the Panchākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) with dhyāna on Shiva/Linga, supported by Shaiva disciplines such as Tripuṇḍra (bhasma) and Rudrākṣa as aids to steadiness and inner realization.
