噢主宰啊,愿你的至上禅观——我最高的归依——哪怕一刹那也不曾远离我的心念,永不离去。
A devotee addressing Lord Śiva (as narrated within Rudra Saṃhitā’s Sṛṣṭi Khaṇḍa context)
Tattva Level: pashu
Shiva Form: Dakṣiṇāmūrti
Type: stotra
Role: teaching
It expresses ananya-bhakti—single-pointed devotion—asking that Śiva-smaraṇa (remembrance of Shiva) and dhyāna never leave the heart, which in Shaiva Siddhānta is a direct means toward Śiva’s grace (anugraha) and liberation from pāśa (bondage).
Unbroken inner meditation supports outer worship: the Liṅga serves as the saguna focus for dhyāna, and the devotee prays that this contemplative connection to Śiva’s presence never fades, making pūjā and japa fruitful.
Practice steady dhyāna and japa—especially the Pañcākṣarī “Om Namaḥ Śivāya”—so the mind does not wander; support it with daily Liṅga-pūjā, vibhūti (tripuṇḍra), and rudrākṣa as aids to continuous Shiva-smaraṇa.
