यथा स्त्रिया हृषीकेशो हरिणा सा यथा रमा । क्षणदा विधुना युक्ता तया युक्तो यथा विधुः
yathā striyā hṛṣīkeśo hariṇā sā yathā ramā | kṣaṇadā vidhunā yuktā tayā yukto yathā vidhuḥ
正如 Hṛṣīkeśa(毗湿奴)恒常与 Śrī(吉祥天女·拉克希米)相合,而 Śrī 亦恒常与 Hari 相合;又如黑夜与明月相依,明月亦与黑夜相依——如是神圣的双尊永不分离,彼此安住于对方的临在之中。

The verse uses well-known inseparable pairs (Viṣṇu–Lakṣmī, night–moon) to communicate the metaphysical principle of inseparability in divine union—an image that, in a Shaiva Siddhanta reading, supports steadfast bhakti to the Lord with His Śakti, where grace (anugraha) flows through their united presence.
Though the examples cite Viṣṇu and Lakṣmī, the teaching supports Saguna worship: the Lord is contemplated together with His Śakti, just as the Liṅga is revered as Shiva’s living presence and is often worshipped with Śakti-invocation (āvaraṇa/śakti-upacāra), emphasizing relational devotion rather than abstract separation.
Meditate on inseparable union (yoga of remembrance): perform Liṅga-pūjā with focused japa of the Pañcākṣarī “Om Namaḥ Śivāya,” holding the inner bhāva that Shiva and Śakti are never divided—like the moon and night—so the devotee’s mind remains steadily joined to the Lord.
