संध्यायाः शुद्धिः सूर्यलोकप्रवेशश्च — Purification of Sandhyā and Her Entry into the Solar Sphere
वसिष्ठेन पुरा सा तु वर्णीभूत्वा महामुने । उपदिष्टा तपश्चर्तुं वचनात्परमेष्ठिनः
vasiṣṭhena purā sā tu varṇībhūtvā mahāmune | upadiṣṭā tapaścartuṃ vacanātparameṣṭhinaḥ
噢，大圣者，往昔她曾化为梵行女（brahmacāriṇī），以清净戒行奉持圣律。奉帕拉梅什提因（梵天）之命，婆悉吒教导她修行苦行（tapas）。
