Devas’ Hymn: Śiva as Parabrahman, Māyā-Śakti, and Giver of Karmic Fruits
tvameva viśvaṃ sṛjasi pāsyatsi nijataṃtrataḥ | svarūpāṃ śivaśaktiṃ hi krīḍannūrṇapaṭo yathā

Cosmic Event: Cosmic manifestation portrayed as līlā (spider-web emanation from self).
The verse declares Śiva as the independent Lord (Pati) who creates and sustains the cosmos through his own Śakti, emphasizing divine sovereignty and the inseparable unity of Śiva–Śakti as the basis of all manifestation.
By affirming that the whole universe arises from Śiva and is sustained by him, the verse supports Saguna worship (including Liṅga worship) as a concrete focus for devotion to the transcendent Lord who pervades and governs creation through Śakti.
Meditate on Śiva as the inner ruler and on Śiva–Śakti unity while chanting the Pañcākṣarī mantra “Om Namaḥ Śivāya,” cultivating surrender to his independent will (svatantratā) as a direct aid to liberation.
