The verse highlights śiva-smaraṇa (remembrance of Śiva) as the inner source of śakti: by turning the mind to Pati (the Lord), the devotee’s action becomes aligned with divine will, and the Lord’s power overcomes even formidable opposition.
Remembering Śiva ‘as Prabhu’ points to Saguna upāsanā—personal devotion to the Lord with attributes—often centered on the Liṅga. The trident here signifies Śiva’s sovereign grace that dissolves impurity, just as Liṅga-worship aims at purification and liberation.
Practice Śiva-smaraṇa with japa of the Pañcākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) before and during duties; complement it with traditional Shaiva disciplines like Tripuṇḍra (bhasma) and daily Liṅga-pūjā to cultivate steadiness and purity.
