梵天说道:当毗罗跋陀与毗湿奴交战之时,他以大力无比,心中忆念商羯罗——即湿婆,能除一切灾厄者。
Brahma
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Mahādeva
Type: stotra
Role: liberating
It teaches that even amid conflict and danger, the devotee takes inner refuge in Śiva (Pati), who alone is praised here as the remover of all calamities—signifying surrender and God-remembrance as the highest protection.
Remembering Śaṅkara in the heart reflects Saguna devotion—turning the mind to Shiva’s gracious form and presence; Linga-worship similarly trains the devotee to steady awareness of Shiva as the indwelling protector.
A practical takeaway is japa and smaraṇa—mentally repeating Shiva’s name/mantra (such as the Panchākṣarī, “Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) and holding Shiva in the heart during fear, struggle, or daily challenges.
