कामशापानुग्रहः (Kāmaśāpānugraha) — “The Curse and Grace Concerning Kāma”
क्रतोस्तु सोमपाः पुत्रा वसिष्ठात्कालिनस्तथा । आज्यपाख्याः पुलस्त्यस्य हविष्मंतोंगिरस्सुताः
kratostu somapāḥ putrā vasiṣṭhātkālinastathā | ājyapākhyāḥ pulastyasya haviṣmaṃtoṃgirassutāḥ
由克拉图(Kratu)诞生名为Somapā的诸子；由婆悉吒(Vasiṣṭha)亦生出Kālina一类。由普罗娑底耶(Pulastya)诞生称为Ājyapā者；由安祇罗(Aṅgiras)诞生Haviṣmant诸众。

It preserves the sacred lineage of the Pitṛ-classes, showing that cosmic order (dharma) is sustained through ordained ancestral streams; in a Śaiva reading, honoring such order supports purity of conduct that becomes fit for Shiva-bhakti and grace.
Though genealogical, it frames the dharmic world in which devotees perform śrāddha, charity, and vows; such duties, when offered with devotion to Saguna Shiva (Linga worship), become consecrated actions that purify the devotee and align life with Shiva’s lordship (Pati).
The verse points toward Pitṛ-tarpaṇa and śrāddha performed in a Shiva-centered way—offering water and oblations with remembrance of Shiva, and supporting it with japa of the Pañcākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) for inner purification.
