कामशापानुग्रहः (Kāmaśāpānugraha) — “The Curse and Grace Concerning Kāma”
यदिदं ब्रह्मणा कर्म ममोद्दिष्टं मयापि तत् । कर्तुं शक्यमिति ह्यद्धा भावितं स्वभुवा तदा
yadidaṃ brahmaṇā karma mamoddiṣṭaṃ mayāpi tat | kartuṃ śakyamiti hyaddhā bhāvitaṃ svabhuvā tadā
“梵天所指派于我的那项事业——当时,自生的梵天确然坚信:我亦能成办此事。”

It highlights that when a divinely ordained duty is given, the cosmos itself (here, Brahmā) confirms the seeker’s capacity—suggesting that right action becomes possible through alignment with divine will, a theme compatible with Shaiva emphasis on grace supporting dharma.
Though the verse is administrative in tone, it supports Saguna devotion indirectly: in Shiva Purana, divine tasks and their successful completion are sustained by devotion and reverence to the Lord’s manifest order (Saguna reality), often expressed through ritual worship that steadies resolve.
The takeaway is steadiness in one’s appointed sadhana: undertake daily japa (especially the Panchakshara, “Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) and simple Shiva-puja to cultivate clarity and confidence to complete one’s dharmic responsibilities.
