Cosmic Event: initiation of creation (sṛṣṭi-pravartana) in cyclical cosmology
It emphasizes that cosmic activity (creation’s initiation) is not random but governed by tattva—true spiritual principle—pointing the seeker to see the world as operating under Shiva’s higher order and purpose.
By highlighting “names” to be declared, it supports Saguna devotion through nāma (divine names) and narration; in Shaiva practice, such names and accounts culminate in focused worship of Shiva, often centered on the Linga as the accessible form of the Supreme.
A practical takeaway is nāma-smaraṇa (recollection/recitation of Shiva-related divine names) with tattva-bhāvanā—contemplating their inner meaning—optionally paired with japa of the Panchākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) as a steady Shaiva discipline.
