कामप्रादुर्भावः — The Manifestation/Arising of Kāma
मां सोपि वेधसं वीक्ष्य स्रष्टारं जगतां पतिम् । प्रणम्य पुरुषः प्राह विनयानतकंधरः
māṃ sopi vedhasaṃ vīkṣya sraṣṭāraṃ jagatāṃ patim | praṇamya puruṣaḥ prāha vinayānatakaṃdharaḥ
随后那人见到梵天(维陀诃)——诸世界的创造者与主宰——便俯首顶礼;以谦恭垂颈之姿,开口说道。
Sūta Gosvāmi (narrating the episode; the verse describes an unnamed person speaking after bowing to Brahmā)
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
The verse highlights vinaya (humble surrender) as the proper inner posture for receiving sacred instruction; respect toward cosmic offices like Brahmā becomes a doorway to higher Shaiva understanding of Pati (Shiva) beyond all created roles.
By emphasizing praṇāma and humility, it reflects the devotional discipline used in Saguna Shiva worship—approaching the Divine (often through the Linga) with reverence, self-restraint, and readiness to listen.
A practical takeaway is to begin Shiva-puja with praṇāma and a humble sankalpa, then chant the Panchākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) with a bowed mind; the verse chiefly teaches inner vinaya rather than a specific external rite.
