Sūta Gosvāmin
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Naṭarāja
Significance: Depicts the devas and ṛṣis tasting ānanda in Śiva’s auspicious presence; thematically aligns with tīrtha-darśana where saṅkīrtana/nṛtya are treated as spontaneous worship.
Type: stotra
Offering: pushpa
It presents sacred celebration (utsava) as a bhakti-state where collective remembrance of Śiva ripens into parama-ānanda—an uplifting, sattvic joy that draws sages and devas toward Śiva’s grace.
The verse highlights outward devotional expressions—song and dance—as forms of Saguna worship, where devotees rejoice in Śiva’s manifest presence (often centered on liṅga-pūjā) and taste bliss through reverent celebration.
Kīrtana (devotional singing) and nṛtya as worship, ideally accompanied by japa of the Pañcākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) and a pure, focused mind—turning celebration into contemplation.
