It highlights that when events move in alignment with Hara’s divine will, even the path becomes auspicious—inner joy (ānanda) naturally arises in devas and in Śiva’s gaṇas, indicating grace and harmony around sacred action.
By naming Hara and his gaṇas, the verse emphasizes Saguna Śiva—Shiva as the living Lord with attendants and divine retinue—whose presence generates celebration and devotion, the same devotional mood cultivated in Linga worship.
A practical takeaway is to cultivate joyful remembrance while “proceeding” in worship—chanting the Pañcākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) during pilgrimage or daily practice, letting devotion transform the mind into sā-ānanda (joy-filled).
