为使子嗣增长,那些至善者在彼处修行苦行。达刹之子心志坚定、意念坚固,因受父命约束而纪律严整。

The verse highlights tapas (disciplined austerity) as a dharmic force that regulates creation; firm resolve and self-restraint are presented as necessary supports for orderly progeny and cosmic continuity.
Though the verse speaks of progeny and discipline, in Shaiva framing all ordered creation proceeds under Shiva’s governance; tapas and restraint become preparatory virtues that later mature into Shiva-oriented worship and inner purification.
The takeaway is disciplined tapas: a steady vow, regulated conduct, and focused practice—supported by mantra-japa (such as the Panchakshara) as a Shaiva method to stabilize the mind and will.
