सतीसंक्षेपचरित्रवर्णनम् — Summary Description of Satī’s Narrative
यज्ञध्वंसं चकाराशु महोपद्रवमाचरन् । ततो जगाम स्वगिरिं प्रणनाम प्रभुं शिवम्
yajñadhvaṃsaṃ cakārāśu mahopadravamācaran | tato jagāma svagiriṃ praṇanāma prabhuṃ śivam
他迅速摧毁了祭祀(yajña),掀起巨大的动荡。随后他回到自己的山中住处,俯首礼拜至上主宰——湿婆(Śiva)。
Suta Goswami (narrating to the sages at Naimiṣāraṇya)
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Vīrabhadra
It shows that when sacred action (yajña) is driven by ego and disrespect to Pati (Śiva), it collapses; true auspiciousness is restored by returning to Śiva with humility and surrender.
The verse contrasts outer ritual power with devotion to the personal Lord (Saguna Śiva). In Shaiva practice, the Liṅga symbolizes that same Lord who receives worship not through prideful display, but through reverent pranāma, pūjā, and inner alignment.
The practical takeaway is śaraṇāgati (taking refuge) expressed through namaskāra and Shiva-pūjā—such as japa of the Pañcākṣarī “Om Namaḥ Śivāya” and offering bhasma (tripuṇḍra) with humility rather than mere ritual show.
