सतीसंक्षेपचरित्रवर्णनम् — Summary Description of Satī’s Narrative
तत्प्रभावाद्धरं दक्षो महागर्वी विमूढधीः । महाशांतं निर्विकारं निनि द बहुमोहितः
tatprabhāvāddharaṃ dakṣo mahāgarvī vimūḍhadhīḥ | mahāśāṃtaṃ nirvikāraṃ nini da bahumohitaḥ
在那迷惑之力的影响下,达叉骄矜自负、心智昏乱,沉迷愈深,竟开始诋毁哈罗主(湿婆)——至寂至安、无有变易者。
Suta Goswami
Tattva Level: pasha
Shiva Form: Mahādeva
It warns that moha (delusion) and garva (ego) can make one disrespect the Supreme Pati—Shiva—who is by nature nirvikāra (unchanging) and mahāśānta (utterly peaceful); such aparādha blocks grace and spiritual clarity.
Daksha’s error is judging Shiva through pride and outward notions; Linga-worship trains the mind to honor Shiva as the transcendent, formless Reality (nirguna) present through a sacred form (saguna), cultivating reverence instead of contempt.
A practical remedy is daily japa of the Panchakshara—“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”—with Tripuṇḍra (bhasma) and a humble attitude, specifically to dissolve ego and prevent Shiva-aparādha.
