Pārvatī
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Umāpati
Mantra: kimarthaṃ vyāhṛtā nātha sa prasādo vidhīyatām | tadādiṣṭā caret karma suprasannena cetasā
Type: stotra
Shakti Form: Pārvatī
Role: liberating
It highlights the Shaiva Siddhanta emphasis on prasāda (Śiva’s grace) as the power that pacifies the mind and enables right action; surrender and receptivity to the Lord’s command become the doorway to purification and liberation.
The verse models personal devotion to Saguna Śiva—approaching the Lord as Nātha, seeking His prasāda, and acting under His guidance—an inner attitude that traditionally accompanies Linga worship, mantra-japa, and pūjā.
The key practice is śaraṇāgati (surrender): pray for Śiva’s prasāda, then carry out one’s vrata/pūjā/japa as instructed, maintaining a calm and purified mind—often supported by Panchākṣarī japa and disciplined observances.
