परि सुवानो हरिरंशुः पवित्रे रथो न सर्जि सनये हियानः । आपच्छ्लोकमिन्द्रियं पूयमानः प्रति देवाँ अजुषत प्रयोभिः ॥

当他被榨取而环行时,那黄褐的光线——在滤器上——如战车般奔突,疾驰以求胜得。净化之中,他抵达那具力的颂歌、那因陀罗之力;诸神以滋养与前行的赠赐回受他。

अच्छा नृचक्षा असरत्पवित्रे नाम दधानः कविरस्य योनौ । सीदन्होतेव सदने चमूषूपेमग्मन्नृषयः सप्त विप्राः ॥

他以清明、能见于人的目光,流向净化者;在先见者的胎藏中承受其名。他如祭司般就坐于会座,在诸钵中;七位受感的圣贤——启明之思的言声——近前而来。

प्र सुमेधा गातुविद्विश्वदेवः सोमः पुनानः सद एति नित्यम् । भुवद्विश्वेषु काव्येषु रन्तानु जनान्यतते पञ्च धीरः ॥

苏摩(Soma)——善慧者、识道者、属诸神者——向前行进;净化之时,恒常来到会座(sadas)。在一切圣诗妙作(kāvya)中成为享受者;那坚定的智者(dhīra)以五重之行(pañca)遍布诸民而伸展。

तव त्ये सोम पवमान निण्ये विश्वे देवास्त्रय एकादशासः । दश स्वधाभिरधि सानो अव्ये मृजन्ति त्वा नद्यः सप्त यह्वीः ॥

在你隐秘的深处,噢净化的苏摩(pavamāna Soma),诸神尽皆运作——三与十一;又有十位凭其自性之力(svadhā)。在羊毛的脊岭(滤毡)上他们洁净你;七条伟大的河流(yahvī)洗涤你,使你辉明。

तन्नु सत्यं पवमानस्यास्तु यत्र विश्वे कारवः संनसन्त । ज्योतिर्यदह्ने अकृणोदु लोकं प्रावन्मनुं दस्यवे करभीकम् ॥

愿此确为净化之苏摩(pavamāna)的真实——在那处,一切工匠歌者(kāravaḥ)汇聚同心。彼既为白昼造光,使之成世界;又护佑摩奴(Manu),将达修(Dasyu)驱入禁闭。

परि सद्मेव पशुमान्ति होता राजा न सत्यः समितीरियानः । सोमः पुनानः कलशाँ अयासीत्सीदन्मृगो न महिषो वनेषु ॥

他周行其间,如祭司Hotṛ在多畜之中;如国王般真实,趋赴诸集会而前。苏摩(Soma)净化而来,抵达诸滤罐;他安坐其内,如林野之兽,如森林中的大水牛——自具威势,安住于自身之力。
