इन्द्रासोमा वर्तयतं दिवो वधं सं पृथिव्या अघशंसाय तर्हणम् । उत्तक्षतं स्वर्यं पर्वतेभ्यो येन रक्षो वावृधानं निजूर्वथः ॥
Transliteration
índrāsomā vartáyatam divó vadháṁ sáṃ pṛthivyā́ aghaśaṃsā́ya tárhaṇam | úttakṣatam svaryàṃ párvatebhyo yéna rákṣo vāvṛdhānáṃ nijū́rvathaḥ ||
Translation
因陀罗与苏摩啊，请把自天而来的击杀之力转下，使之与大地相合，成为压碎那恶声者的重压。请从群山凿出通向夺得太阳之道的路；凭此，你们磨灭在我们之中日益滋长的罗刹（Rakṣas）。
