The Slaying of Atikāya
वज्रंविष्टम्भितंयेनबाणैरिन्द्रस्यधीमतः ।पाशस्सलिलराजस्यरणेप्रतिहतस्तथा ।।।।एषोऽतिकायोबलवान्राक्षसानामथर्षभः ।रावणस्यतोधीमान्देवदानवदर्पहा ।।।।
vajraṃ viṣṭambhitaṃ yena bāṇair indrasya dhīmataḥ | pāśaḥ salilarājasya raṇe pratihatas tathā ||
他以箭矢遏止了智者因陀罗的金刚雷霆;在战场上也同样击退了水界之主伐楼那的绳索。
"Here is strong Atikaya, a wise son of Ravana, bull among Rakshasas, who is a subduer of the pride of Devas and Danavas, by whom thunderbolt of Indra was obstructed firmly in battle and likewise the noose of Varuna was repelled in war."
