Trisira’s Counsel and the Slaying of Naranthaka
हयोत्तमसमायुक्तंसर्वायुधसमाकुलम् ।आरुरोहरथश्रेष्ठंत्रिशिरारावणात्मजः ।।।।
hayottamasamāyuktaṃ sarvāyudhasamākulam |
āruroha rathaśreṣṭhaṃ triśirā rāvaṇātmajaḥ ||
罗波那之子三首者登上上等战车,良马牵挽,车上兵器森罗,诸般武具无不具备。
Ravana's brother, Trisira went mounted on a chariot yoked to the best of horses with all kinds of weapons.
Lineage and might are narrated, but the Ramayana’s ethical lens implies that true honor comes from dharma; inherited power without righteous alignment leads toward ruin.
