Transliteration

ayaṃ vyāghra-samīpe tu purāṇo dharma-saṃhitaḥ | ṛkṣeṇa gītaḥ śloko 'sti taṃ nibodha plavaṅgama || 6.116.44 ||

Translation

“猿者啊，有一首古老的偈颂，契合正法（dharma），曾有一只熊在虎前吟唱。请听我说。”
