有的卧在另一人的胸前;又有的倚在她的臂上。还有的睡在别人的膝上,而另一些则以她的双臂为依靠。
Some women lay placing their arms on the breasts of the other while their own arms were used as pillow by another. One woman placed her head on the lap of the other and slept.
The verse reinforces the setting of intoxicated intimacy; dharma is highlighted by contrast—Hanumān’s mind remains governed by truth and duty rather than being drawn into voyeurism or distraction.
Hanumān continues his careful survey, seeing women asleep in interdependent, overlapping postures.
Single-pointedness (ekāgratā) in service of a righteous mission.
